In my opinion watching soap operas is tiring and I do not think it is a good way of spending your free time.
Firstly, soap operas have a primitive plot and many of soaps are similar.
Secondly, actors that staring in this TV series are usually not very talented and the script is quite poor.
Because producers are interested in getting more income so they do not think about the quality of the soap.
Finally, sitting in front of the TV and watching soap operas makes you forget about real life with its problems and complexities.
However, there are some people who think that watching soaps is really entertaining and useful.
They believe that TV series help people to relax after a hard-working day.
Moreover, it can be a good business, many companies use characters of popular series in order to attract people, make them buy their production.
I agree with this point of view, but soap operas cannot give you any useful information, furthermore, they can affect your health.
It is better to spend your free time with your nearest and dearest.
To sum up, it is up to you what to watch on the TV.
If it does not makes any troubles you can watch soap operas just to have fun or pass the time.
