I have been studying English for almost two years now.
Of course there was a time I learned English at school, too.
But in my own opinion the common teaching methods of a foreign language are not as good as they should be.
First of all, you are studying a great deal of grammar rules, but you do not learn how to speak fluently or how to improve your understanding of a foreign language.
Moreover, learning vocabulary without using it, is, as far as I am concerned, a waste of time and energy.
The problem that I have now in my studies, is that I'm quite good in translation to my native language but I'm not that good in speaking English.
As a German proverb says: "You learn languages by speaking them".
I'm aware of that.
However, could there be a further possibility to improve my speaking skills more quickly? Thank you.
