The paper demonstrates the feasibility of a positive influence on writing skills by students due to blogging.

Current research presents the comparison experiment, capable of overcoming the methodical limitations, identified in previous studies.

The experimental study was conducted on two randomly selected groups of students (EG – 28 students and CG – 29 students) ages between 18-19.

Participants were given the same materials and both were required to write journals, though only EG students blogged their works.

The quantitative technique of research was created in order to detect if there were considerable differences between the learning attitude towards journal writing and the progress in the writing performances.

Upon examination of these studies, it becomes clear that with few peculiar limitations the previous enquiries concerning blogging as a way for EFL student writers to a significant improvement of writing skills and attitudes towards writing itself are inconsistent.
