Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
The atmosphere is harrowing and mysterious.
We suspect how the story's gonna end since the beginning of the extract.
And yet, when we are witnessing progression of the events, we feel like we are being sucked in a whirlwind that nothing seems able to stop.
We sense such a superior force, the fatality, guides the character.
And we are helpless bystanders, numbed and fascinated by the story.
As the character, we're torn in both parts : our self-awarness knows that something terrible is gonna happenned but the other part wants that Mr Jekyll pursue his experiences.
