I believe each child is the future of the society.
For a grander purpose that a better world, teachers are the engineer of future.
I consider education on three different levels.
On the individual level, children must have all-rounded development, including emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development.
During this process, the teacher should like a researcher have comprehensive evaluation about the child, a further reflection on education and then having actions.
By doing these, teacher is most likely to help each child to construct the knowledge of the world and aware of his or her multiple intelligences.
I believe each child could be a good learner, and I would like to adopt the way of learning by exploring.
In the preschool years, children have different sensitive periods.
Therefore, providing them with a safe and stimulating learning environment, which also considers children’s levels, student would have intrinsic motivation and passion to learn.
On the local level, teacher is a coordinator, making good use of the resources around, from families, schools and communities, in which children’s learning can be extended outside the classroom and school.
In addition, because teacher is not the only person effecting children’s development, therefor I would give emphasis on cooperating well with parents, colleagues and communities people.
From the global level, teacher is a guider.
Because of the Informatization and globalization of the world, e-learning is one important element of curriculum and wider internet resources can be introduced into children’s learning.
For myself, teaching not only provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth, but also brings me gain personal satisfaction.
The unique of each child and crucial importance of preschool years make me feel there is a need for professional and dedicated individuals who are excited about working with children.
I am such a person and will always strive to be the best educator that I can be.
