Hello) Recently I saw video where english teacher was saying how to be more polite.

He was saying about words which native speakers try do not use, substitute them by expression.

For example instead of saying "he dead" they say "he passed away".

Most of all I liked when somebody is unemployed he can say "I'm between jobs", it is funny.

And when you bought an used car you can say "I bought a previously enjoyed car" I think it is very smart for trading, at least "previously enjoyed car" sounds much better than "used car"
