I'm so excited because tomorrow morning I'll go to a beautiful town in my country called Quetzaltenango.

Quetzaltenango means in nahuatl language "City of the quetzales" But also Quetzaltenango is known as Xela or Xelajú because this is the name which quichè's lordship gave to this town, and means "The Place of the 10 deers".

I love Xela because the nature there is amazing; there are lots of volcanoes, mountains and also rivers and waterfalls around.

I love photography, so you can Immagine how much happy I'm going to be taking beautiful photos!

There is some special place named "Georgina's Fountains" which is an amazing beautiful place with 7 natural pools of sulfur water, people go there to be healthy and get a relax time....and I'll go there! yeah!!!

I also like Xela because of the weather, it's warm but does mainly cold weather and I love it!...in some places it seems you can walk among the clouds.

Xela has lot of tipical food, drinks and desserts...For example, I love to eat "paches de arroz" which are a dish made of mass and grains of rise, I also enjoy to eat the famous "shecas" which are sweet bread with a touch of anise or natural jam into it....yummy yummy!

But, I'm so happy to go there specially because this is where my Mummy was born...walk on the streets of Xela, talk with the locals, enjoy the nature and food it would be like to be with my Mom when she was alive.
