He has the shiniest smile in the universe; even the sun seems dull to her when he stretches his thin lips into a grin, his eyes crinkling up, lines fanned out of the corners.
And then he will laugh out slightly, his voice, although softer than fluffy cotton, making her heart thump.
What she has found to be most charming about him, however, are his outstanding characteristics.
As a teacher, he should be the frankest and sincerest man that you don't bump into every day.
Never does he make pleasing states conflicting with his innermost feelings, and nor does he embellish his own stories to draw anyone's attention, for deeply inside he believes in destiny, knowing that it will bring him to those who love him for who he is.
He jokes a lot, but hardly ever wisecracked about others.
In most cases he makes fun of himself, and doesn't get angry when people do so.
He has the patience of a saint; a fast learner himself, he is surprisingly gentle to the slow-witted.
This part of his personality, though it might sound silly, is the main reason for her passionate fondness for him.
She firmly believes that only people of noble minds will be willing to devote their time to those who need help, and that generosity in sharing knowledge is even more precious than in sharing material wealth.
Perhaps she hasn't known him well enough to call her feelings for him "love" ; perhaps years later she will see this as a ridiculous infatuation; perhaps even if they became a couple, they wouldn't make it to eternity.
But does she care?
No, she doesn't.
Right here, right now, she is besotted with him, and that's enough for her.
And even though he doesn't love her the way she loves him, they have still influenced each other's lives so profoundly that she finds nothing to be regretful of.
