  • Studying at an early age

  • The prompt: Some people think that children should begin their formal education at a very early age and should spend most of their time on school studies.
  • Others believe that young children should spend most of their time playing.
  • Compare these two views.
  • Which view do you agree with? Why?
  • Learning is an amazing process that eveyrone should go into.
  • No matter what the age of the person, we all need to learn new things in our daily lives.
  • But when it comes to the children, some people argue that children should not start learning at an early age, others would support the view of making children starting their formal education at an early age.
  • In my opinion, being in a group of intellect who holds the opinion that children should begin their formal studies at an early age is better for two reasons.
  • First, when children start learning at an small age especially in schools, they tend to perfom well, and even rank at the top of the list of the intellegent kids.
  • Because, learning while being a kid, would help the kids to memorize more than being adult.
  • For example, I remember when I was started at my primary school at a normal age, I was studying with different kids from different places, and in the class I noticed that the kids who started at an early age, they tend to participate more in class, and volunteering to do home work.
  • As a matter of fact, they used sometimes to insist on the remind the teachers of give us home work to prepare in home.
  • And I remember once sitting in middle of the class, and when the our teacher of math finished class at the end of the class, she was in hurry, and she had to leave as quick as possible.
  • Yet, I saw a friend of mine who entered in an early age, walking her to the door, and reminding her of collecting the home work that she gave us the last time.
  • She thanked him for reminding her, and stopped for a minute to collect the work, and it turned out only few pupil who brought it.
  • And the majority of those who finished their homework were children who entered school at an early age.
  • As you can see, childreen who enter at an early age in school, they tend to perform better than the normal kids who entered normally.
  • The second reason, there are some people who believe that children should spend more time playing rather than entering schools at an early age.
  • Because, they believe that children who would be emerged in school while they're small, they may face problems in their lives, and in their cognative process.
  • It would effect their education as well as their social behaviour.
  • Especially if the kid is not willing to start school at that age, and would be forced which would make him hate studying and even his parents due to forcing him into something that he's not interested in yet, and pushing him away from his favorate activities as playing video games with his friends, and visiting the parks and zoos most of his time.
  • However, if parents know how to convince their children to enter school in an early age, and explain to them, that they will have sufficient time to play, and do their favorate actiives, and motivate them to help them realizing their wishes.
  • It would make children work more hard in their classes in order to suceed in their classes and do their best activities.
  • In this way, they would have more balance life as those who are wasting their valuable time on just playing most of the day, which they will regret when they grow up, while regret will not help them.
  • Because they can not go back to correct it.
  • As you can see, playing is necessary for children.
  • But, if parents succeed in explaining to their children the importance of studying at an early age and playing as well, it would boost up the performance of the children.
  • To sum it up, children are unique in their learning process, and show an enormous efforts for tackling hard subjects that they do not understand.
  • Some of the people think that letting children to play more before studying would be better, others argue that studying at an early age would be the ideal thing for the children.
  • For me, I believe that studying at an early would be the best for children.
  • Because they will learn more faster than the normal childrens, and would have a balanced life between playing and learning.
