So I'm going to open an English class at home to teach some kids basic English .I also have to fix their bad habits in learning it (going to talk about it later).

So far, I've only gathered some of the materials to teach them and a few topics for starting (Greetings, Introducing...).

But having experience with being a tutor for one day lets me know that teaching kids from 6-12 age is not an easy task, let alone the fact that I am the teacher this time, not just a tutor whose duty is re-explaining what the other teachers taught them.

I know that my English is not qualified to be a teacher yet because as you can see, I still make a lot of mistakes in my entries.

However, I'm proud of my English skills because despite making mistakes from time to time, I can actually use it, while my classmates who once had better grade than me in English class can't even give a proper presentation without preparing a script (to read!!).

My dream is not only to become an English teacher, but also teach my student to actually use it!

The kids I'm going to teach wasn't able to speak anything even though they've gone to several places before, I want to help them now.

Because of that, I really need your advice, any will do.

And if you please, could you tell me specifically the "golden rules" in teaching English?

Where should I start?

What's the best place to search for free but quality material?...Thanks a lot.
