My name is Santiago, I was born in the Canary Islands and I have been living here my whole life with my parents.

I love to listen and play on my guitar music from all around the world, but especially Jazz, Bossa Nova, Blues and folk music.

I really like learning languages, I am currently studying English and French at college and Chinese by my own.

I found music and languages a fun and easy way to get into other people’s realities.

I would like to travel as much as possible, and now that I have some American friends, I look forward to traveling to North Carolina.

All started many years ago in primary school, and thanks to this antiquated educational system, during almost more than ten years I have been getting really good grades at English class, even when I was not able to say a simple phrase correctly.

Things started to change the year before college, when I became a huge fan of the sitcom “Friends”, which after ten seasons helped me to develop an ear for English.

At college I started to speak and in little time I have improved a lot.

Right now I feel much more confident with my English, although sometimes I am not very eloquent when I speak it.
