I jumped out of the bed and ran up to the door, I opened it and the wind was so strong it nearly blew me over, so I closed it back and put my face against the glass of the window expecting the worst.

In the darkness, thanks to the constant lightning, I could see what was going on; the old Mac was looking for “Judd”, his adored cow which somehow had appeared in the middle of the field.

Struggling against the wind he ran towards it, when suddenly, a thunder falls on the cow lighting up the whole yard.

After this, the storm slowly died away, and through the clouds I could see the first ray of sunshine of a new day.

I found Mac crying on top of his now dead last hope for a better life; his illusions died as soon as that cow was gone, gone with the storm.
