The story I'd like to interpret is entitled "A Humble Drama" and is written by Guy de Maupassant.

G.Maupassant is one of the most talented French writer.

He is best known as a master of the short stories.

His stories are based on human lives and destinies and social forces in disillusioned and often pessimistic terms.

One of his products is a stoy with pessimistic title - "A Humble Drama".

The author's communicative aim of this story is to aouse in us a feeling of regret to parents, whose children forget about them and a feeling of anxiety for such relatives and the huge chasm of misunderstanding that has aisen between them.

The Theme of this story is family relationships.

The author aises different acute problems between parents and their children: for example, a problem of misunderstanding, a problem of bitter loneleness, a problem of children's upbringing and so on.

It shows us all pain and gief as human feelings.

At the beginning of this story the author describes us thoughts and supervision about the meeting with a charming neighbor, who coming with him in rattling stragecoaches.

He talks about his personal life experiences.

It is an exposition.

The action takes place in Auvergne, France.

In the plot of this story the author talks about the meeting with one lonely old lady who tells him about her bitter destiny.

The 1st meeting he sees with her in a little inn, near a pilgrim's chapel called Notre-Dame de Vassiviere.

The narrator of this story gives us her full portrait as the skilled observer.

Already on her behavior in society, clothers and to the attitude towards herself the author wants to show to the reader as easily in cowd to distinguish the lonely person who doesn't pay any attention to the appearance.

She behaves so because she has nobody to be tidy and beautifully dressed, not to whome to give the care and smile.

For the 2d time the author meets the old lady in ruins of mountains.

She bitterly cries, notice the author and decides to tell him the bitter facts of life.

She hard remembers the past, but the author feels that it needs to be uttered and doesn't disturb it.

She speaks about the events connected with her son very emotionally.

The author shows it exclamatory sentences.

Her love to the son doesn't help it to preserve warm relations with him.

The author wants to show us, what even at the good and loving parents such children can grow up.

Her son since 8 years starts to live independently in connection with study.

Because of it such freedom becomes for him as normal.

The woman doesn't have it very much.

She doesn't see as he grows, changes, gets new habits, hobbies and friends.

Last straw of their ended relations becomes that her son of all his behavior shows that it isn't necessary to him.

Last paragraph in which the author leaves this lonely old lady last time.

The author wants to show us that we have to forget never our parents.

We have to thank them that presented us life.

We should care of them and appreciate every moment with them while they are still living!
