Dear Doctor Wild My name is Johann Castaneda.

I’m contacting you because I have a strong interest in the work that you do in the field of health technologies assessments (HTA).

I would like to get involved in the activities of the Ludwig-Boltzman Institut.

Currently, I carry out HTA as a human medicines evaluator at the French National Authority for Health (HAS).

I’m a Colombian pharmacist with a French Master’s degree in public health; focusing on epidemiology and social sciences.

Throughout my professional experience, I’ve gained depth knowledge in clinical epidemiology, particularly in clinical trials methodology applied to medicines evaluation.

I also have some experience in systematic reviews and the elaboration of European practice guidelines using GRADE methodology.

I'm certain that my scientific background and my strong interest in the impact in public health of medicines and in the dynamics of the pharmaceutical R&D system will allow me to provide you with an interdisciplinary, high-quality work.

Thought at present I don't speak German, I'm highly motivated to learn it.
