Ivan has been a teacher for first-grade students at the Amur State University in September-October and has recommended himself as an excellent entry-level teacher.

As his internship tutor it is with the great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Ivan and recommend him as the next teacher for your language school.

I am sure that he can show his talents and continue his reputation inside the walls of your teaching establishment.

On my part, I have suggested Ivan to seek out teaching position in our city’s elementary school, but he is determined in his decision to gain an international teaching experience due to the commitment to his own aims, as despite of teaching English language, the list of his life priorities includes studying Eastern (Chinese) Culture and language.

I have known Ivan for a long time, as apart from tutoring his internship I also was a teacher of English and pedagogic disciplines for him during 5 years throughout Ivan was getting Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the Amur State University.

It is no doubt, that one of the most important characteristics any English language teacher should successfully operate is an excellent knowledge of English.

In the case of Ivan, it is a distinct pleasure for me to mention the level of proficiency of foreign language.

It might be proved not only throughout observation of his internship where Ivan has demonstrated an excellent knowledge of English vocabulary, grammar and phonetics, but also throughout his academic achievements in many disciplines relating to English.

One of his talents is his creativity in a classroom.

Thus, during tutoring his internship I had a pleasure to observe his methods.

Despite of the fact that he was limited be the set teaching curriculum, Ivan put great efforts to introduce the variety in a classroom activity and engage all the students into learning English, giving them authentic materials and suggesting different games.

Ivan has especially succeed in creating an amiable atmosphere and comfortable working conditions in a classroom.

Especially need to mention the ability of Ivan to find common ground with all the learners with no except to their age, language level and background.

He is able to treat every student with respect and care.

What is more, he has a talent to strike a balance between serious and responsible attitude towards to his work on the one hand, and positive thinking on the other, that is reflected in his teaching approaches and methods.

After finishing his internship, most of his students constantly greet him with fervor inside the university walls.
