The Chart illustrates the transformation of house price in percentage between 1990 and 2000 compared to prices in 1989 of five different cities (New York, Madrid, Tokyo, Frankfort and London).

Overall, Madrid during these years had the most price increase (from -5% to more than +10%).

Instead, Houses in Frankfort hadn’t changed their costs too much, in fact the difference between 1990 and 2000 it’s just less than 1%.

Furthermore, Frankfort is the only city which the price decreases, instead of growing.

Other cities which increase their house’s prices are Tokyo, London and New York with a difference respectively of 10%, 3% and 2%.

In the end, after the 1996 just the city of Tokyo has a house price less expensive than the 1989; in fact New York, Madrid and London after a fall between 1990 and 1995, restore and increase their prices during the last few years between 1996 and 2000.
