Synthesis Migrant.

I'm going to talk about the notion Spaces and exchanges To begin with, I'd like to give a definition, this notion deals with the geographical and symbolic areas that all societies occupy and the interactions between men and different societies.

Our study begin on 15th March 2011.

This date is when Syria entered the war.

Killed nearly 300 000 people, it's an international war.

From this internationality ensue the purpose of our study, which is the migration.

In fact the majority of war victims want to flee their country.

That is how we are entiled to ask : what are the consequences and the reactions of politicians ans population about this migration ?

In the first place we will evoke the reasons and conditions of migrnats' departures ; then we will talk about the welcome of the population and finally the reaction of the countries.

1) Reasons and conditions of migrants' departures.

a) They flee war-torn country.

-war hits directly syrian population (300 000 dead people).

-violence within Syria (execution ; blitz).

b) A dangerous journey.

-be ready for anything to flee.

-risk their lives.

-semptember = accident a migrants' boat which made 13 dead.

c) A shocking picture which raises public awarness.

-after the appearence of picture - lot of people want to support migrants.

-14 september = demonstration in london - scream «open the border».

2) The welcome of the population.

a) Acceptaion.

-outpouring of generosity and solidarity. b) Rejection.

-(video) → kick fleeing refugees.

c) Pros and cons of welcoming migrants.

-Pros : solution of demographic crisis - created cultural exchanges.

-Cons : racial tension - dilute a contry's cultural identity.

3) The reactons of the contries.

a) The contries which are involved and some figures about the influx of migrants. -be overfull.

-Germany, Hungary, Greece, France.

b)Politicians' decisions.

-face with this situation, emergency decision.

-closed borders.

-put up fonces.

c)These measures are in opposition with the EU's schengen agreement and the international treaty on refugees.

-treaty to abolish border controls within Europe.

-They should find other solution.

This study motivates us to ask ourselves about the migrant's future and about several decision I think that this situation is tragic and we should react.

I don't know the solutions for a long period but I know that nobody can be indefferent and solidarity should be required.
