Teaching morality lessons by priest Dmitry, who is rector of local church ,has become a good tradition at our school.
Our teacher of social sciences Vera Dmitrievna is usually busy with organization of such lessons.
As usual seniors are invited to these meetings.
Our last meeting was devoted to mercy.We discovered that doing good deeds is a main form of love.
You need to understand the meaning of word "love" widely.
Here love means love to God, all people ,nature.
I guess you realize that morality includes kindness,patience, tolerance, assistance to help other people without wanting to get something in return.
Thanks to rector Dmitry we got acquainted with studies of famous churchmen.
Nobody was indifferent to lives of russian saints.
We seniors learnt some deatails about histrory of charity in our country and role of religion and authorities in bringing charity into life.
We also entered the contest prepared by rector Dmitry and discussed major aspects of volunteerism.
We promised we would be volunteers next.
Mercy is a theme of current interest.
If we help understand each other we can confront violence and unkindness with our high moral standards.
No only are we seniors but also volunteers.
We would like inhabitants of our town to have good New year time.
We wish you to be healthy and merciful!
