  • Please correct my text!

  • The website incorporates various types of resources that were used in order to complete the hypothesis.
  • A frontpage includes photos and short descriptions of the selected motivational speakers.
  • Moreover, at the top of the page there's an additional photo and a relevant quotation from Winston Churchill.
  • One of the navigation buttons, which can also be found on the opening page of the website, gives users easy accessibility to speeches of the motivational speakers, results of research and comparison.
  • The next navigation button is ‘’INTRODUCTION’’.
  • It gives the user a short overview of the issue we are contending with.
  • Under the button ‘’TOOLS AND METHODS’’, the user finds a list of tools and descriptions of them.
  • Furthermore, there is a button to find metadata in ‘’BIBLIOGRAPHY’’.
  • The data content resources of the documents used on the website and links to the selected speeches.
  • Clicking on a button ‘’ABOUT’’ users sees brief pieces of information about the authors of the website.
  • The process of creating a website relay on multifarious factors.
  • At the beginning of a work, a whole group made a brain storming in order to pick up a suitable subject.
  • Although we had no restrictions and the issue could be chosen freely, it was quite to find a common area of interest for all members of the group.
  • In spite of constant indecisiveness, we agreed to choose an issue from the psychology namely successful motivational speakers and their speeches.
  • At the beginning to my tasks appertained picking up one successful motivational speaker and his/her speeches, photo and videos, preparing transcriptions of the texts for the next tools.
  • Selecting a right person required a lot of research especially in a business area, because more and more speakers includes in their copywriters that processing the content is not allowed.
  • After I have choosen Patrick Schwerdtfeger, I started to write a program in Python, which intended to process the raw texts and give results like for example: text without stopwords, frequency of distribution (most frequent words) and the amount and list of ngrams.
  • The process of writing the program was time consuming.
  • Problem with the task was that in order to complete the program there is need a lot of time to cope with syntax errors and than process texts.
  • I considered that banishing the idea will be reasonable, because there are multiple online tools that in truth contain the functions but at the same time require much more workload.
  • Having said that the new tools require much more work I mean manual work during processing texts.
  • Similarly to Python work tools WordCounter and Ngram Analyzer but in comparison to the Python program there is no necessity to prepare the text without stopwords manually in Microsoft Office.
  • The WordCounter show concededly the most frequent words but do not generate such a text without the stopwords.
  • This kind of text was ingredient to push the work forward, because other tools worked on a basis of the processed texts.
  • Coped with my tasks, I wrote a short card about me, which is to find on the website under the button ‘’ABOUT’’.
  • Last but not least, I have to admit that I find extremely demanding to work the group, although until now it was my favorite way of work.
  • Taking everything into consideration, there were multiple challenges that the working group faced on different levels and at phase of work but as a result was created a website, which on a basis of the linguistic tolls and Microsoft Word shows results of linguistic analysis in an appealing way.
  • The site can be interesting not only for linguistics but also for psychologists or for example laypeople, which are interested in the phenomena of the most successful motivational speakers.
  • In conclusion, there seems to be no compelling reason to argue that the only key to success of motivational speakers is vocabulary or its combinations.
  • However, it is to be said that a word selection is equally importantly as magnetic personality or body language of motivational speaker.
  • Only coupled with the visualizations and statistics, the videos it is possible to make a plausible portrayal of successful motivational speaker.
  • Another key thing for me to remember is that in work group, where there is no team leader, it is essential to separate tasks into sections.
  • The sections should be then adequately allotted so that tasks and area of responsibility is indisputable.
