This project is an attempt to examine the issue of selection of vocabulary and its influence on public, taking a middle-ground position.

Resources that were used in order to complete a research were speeches from randomly chosen, generally known and successful motivational speakers.

Pre-conditions were that particular motivational speeches have to be as a matter of principle appealing and encouragement and every of them have to be a successful speaker in a different area of life.

Considering the pre-condition and on a basic of a search each and every member of the working group chose one successful motivational speaker.

The names of the speakers and titles of the speeches are following: Patrick Schwerdtfeger (business) and his speeches “Learned Intuition” and “Go BIG!

Creating an Unfair Advantage’’, Knute Rockne (sport) and his speeches “Win One for the Gipper’’and “Recreation of a Pep’’, Eric Thomas (daily life) and his speeches “How bad do you want it?’’ and “ Never give up’’, Winston Churchill (politics) and his speeches “ The Free Trade League’’ and “ We Shall Fight on the Beaches’’.

Having been working on this project, we faced multiple challenges like technical problems with linguistic tools, accessibility of resources, visualizing text in an appealing form.
