I live in Guatemala, which is a beautiful country in Central America, below Mexico.
This subcontinent is formed by seven countries, most of which have historical and social ties.
In the lowest part, you find Panama, which is bordered on the south by the South American country of Colombia.
Two years ago, I had the chance of visiting this amazing country.
It was a memorable trip, because I visited different regions there.
I was mostly in Panama City, which is a beautiful city full of friendly people.
I went to the beach, where you can relax all day, hearing the sound of the waves crushing in the sand and the rocks.
It's an amazing place to rest, offering spectacular landscapes and fresh weather.
I also visited the Panama Canal, which is very important for the economy of the country, and of Central America in general.
It has an interesing mechanism: you go through different sections.
In each one, you have to wait until the elevation of the water is the same than the one on the next section.
Going to the Panama Canal takes a lot of time, but it's fun, specially if you love traveling by boat.
If you haven't gone to Panama, you should!
It was an incredible experience for me! :)
