Introduction The main aim of this report is to illustrate the activities and tasks that I was keeping in charge during my participation as internship in the work experience program offered by this hotel chain, BestWestern International, housed in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona.

Furthermore, it contains the problems encountered with the program.

The final section is intended to make certain recommendations as how the program could be improved.

Tasks and activities From the beginning of this work experience, the participants were informed about how the internship will work, then everyone was assigned to certain area, under the lead of a chef manager of that area.

It is also important to state that all the internships were asked to dress a special uniform, with that it could be possible to identify them, as well as their area.

At the end of the program, everyone had to pass through all the several areas that composed the work at the hotel.

The trainee began in the restaurant serving food, then they were involved at the kitchen in the process of preparing the dishes.

After that, they were transferred to the reception, at the end of the training it corresponded to assist someone in the administrative management domain.
