Firstly, in my following essay I would like to explain the traveller’s influence in tourist areas; therefore, nowadays many people travel around the world, they can discover different cultures and they can enjoy visiting certain places like going to sunny beaches or climbing mountains.
The amount of people what travel is higher and higher and there are several different aspects which are affected by the tourism.
As a result, The impact of global tourism can have major effects on wildlife and nature; that is why, ecologists are normally against the touristic development, because tourism totally disturbs the environment like the wonderful greenparts of a tourist village.
These areas can be replaced by gigantic hotel complexes, golf courses and other tourist attractions.
It is not only plants which can disappear but also animals, as they go away because their habitat is not the same with noise and pollution everywhere.
However, local people of the touristic areas normally welcome the arrival of tourists because it benefits their economies, they are shops or restaurant owners in tourist villages, depending on their incomes out of the souvenirs they sell to tourists; consequently, it is impossible for them to survive without the travelers.
Secondly, while the ecologists criticize the bad effects of tourism for the environment, they are not aware of the economical advantage for the local people, because ecologists economies are not based on the tourism impact; consequently, besides their ecological concerns they also need to think about a proper sustainable development for these areas, because the environmental protection is very important but it is necessary to find solutions for the people that can be economically affected with the decrease of tourists by the implementation of environmental policies
Finally, tourism is a great opportunity for people in the world to enjoy life but it is important to protect the environment too.
Local people in tourist areas can find other ways to do business, while the natural damages can be difficult to repair.
In conclusion, local people are normally reluctant to change their business activities; that is why sustainable development policies need to be provided for them to find solutions to continue with their businesses and protecting the environment.
