  • Nick generally dodges Gatsby’s controversial sides and focus on his greatness that sadly would drive him to his fall, which is his perseverance Gatsby is not like the rest, careless people who just aspire to an empty existence of mundane excess; he does not even drink, he concerns himself with higher aspirations that he genuinely believes reachable.
