  • Abstract

  • Among the important areas in the natural language processing is the semantic roles labeling.
  • Several other areas of natural language processing employ the semantic roles, such as the extraction of information, question answering, machine translation, etc. In this paper, we present a method supervised for the semantic roles labeling in the Arab sentences.
  • We exploit the capacity of return of experience of the case-based reasoning to make new annotations from previous annotations.
  • The Arabic PropBank is used as a reference to semantic labels.
  • For the first time, a method of semantic roles labeling in the Arabic language is tested on a portion of the corpus OntoNotes5.0.
