Two month ago I decided to learn english.
I read english books since college, but I never try to understand spoken english and still less I never try to speak it.
Now in italy it's a very hard moment for working.
So I decided to do somenthing usefull, and what may be better than learnig english?
But when I study english at school learning is very boring.
So I though, how can I do?
I think that babies learn ther first language only listening.
They have no other possibility to learn a language.
So I decided to make an experiment with my brain, and on february I started hearing many youtube videos in english language.
Day after day, using wordreference, I began to be able to understend more and more.
I spent not less then three hours a day, but very often I spent more then 5 too.
I listened every day, as I usually do now too.
After 6 weeks of comprehension I decided to start to speak english.
At the beginning it's very hard, but now, after 6 weeks I'm able to substain a conversation with many friends in all the word.
People don't belive me when I say I speak only since 6 weeks, but it's true.
Yesterday I have my first phone call in german for my business and it had been all good.
I'm very glad of it, and I don't belive it shoud be possible.
