Telling a story about a trip
When I was eleven, my parents, my sister and I travelled in bus from Colombia to Chile.
It was a very long trip, since it lasted about seven days.
During the trip we crossed two whole countries: Ecuador and Perú.
It was a nice experience, although somehow traumatic.
Arriving to Santiago after almost seven days travelling by bus was such a relief.
Chileans were great hosts to us.
They made us feel at home, despite the distance.
We returned to Colombia eleven months later, by bus as well, and ever since I have lived wishing to visit Chile again, but this time, I think I'd prefer to do it by plane.
