Διορθώσεις

Talking about an advert on tv: "Parents are showed like weak role models, and children are showed like the most smart people, and their lack of respect to the parents and to the co- habitation rules seems to be the most funny thing in the world" Is it right to use the verb show when you are describing and advert? Thanks
