As I was allowed to spent my last two weeks at the reception, my work day began already at 9 o´clock.
Corresponding to the Dress Code I went to my master who explained me the process of the day.
He showed me the reservations in the computer and following I had the task to check the booked rooms if they are in good order.
After the tour arrived the first foreign tourists.
It was a French family who have booked a three bed room.
First of all, I had to checked the booking number and which room I should refer them.
After the examination I demanded of each family member the identification card or passport.
I need this documents to full filled the personal details like first name, surname, address, place of birth, date of birth and the identification number.
Then I bring the guests in their room and meanwhile I told them a little bit about the history of Antichi Ovili.
Arrived at the room I explained them were the things are, how to use the air conditioner and told them the times for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After that I went back to the hotel where I had to serve a German couple and translate the menu.
As the guests finished I may issue the invoice and encash the money.
After a while the French family had the desire to visit some typical Sardinian attractions.
So, I showed them in a map which different attractions are in the surrounding field.
After that, they decided to visit the “Diga Flumendosa”.
The remaining one hour until finishing time, I got assigned to the kitchen where I had to wash the dishes and afterwards to dry it.
Two-way 17 o´clock I had finishing time.
