I chose to speak about the attack on the World Trade Center because it is a very big important event for New York.
There had to many deaths and huge disaster in the city.
The twin towers were the seven largest building in the city of Manhattan.
In these rounds, there has already been a fire and bomb attack.
But September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorist organization Al Qaeda attacked the towers with planes.
In the morning, the first plane crashed into the North Tower.
A few minutes later, a second plane hit the South Tower.
Then a third plane collided into the Pentagon and a fourth collapses as passengers tried to stop the terrorists.
So there had to thousands of deaths.
There were many people who worked in the towers.
In airplanes, there were also passengers.
The Al Qaeda organization is a group of Islamic terrorists created by Osama bin Laden.
They did a lot of terrorist attacks.
