Try, try again.

One day, out of the clear blue sky, Lauren asked her mom for play baseball.

Her mom taught her how to play baseball.

They went shopping for a new leather softball blove, a shiny, with softball (which really wasn't very soft at all).

Mom said : "Watch the ball very closely".

Lauren tried but she couldn't catch it.

Mommy threw the ball many times but Lauren didn't catch it even once.

They had a breaktime.

They drank lemonade.

Lauren was bouncing around the yard, she yelled: "Throw the ball some more Mommy, I'll catch it this time." Mom threw the ball right at Lauren's glove and she could catch the ball.

Lauren hopped and jumped and shouted: "I caught it. I did it!

I did it!" Mommy swept Lauren into her arms and twirled her around in a great big circle!
