批改

In response to the constant criticism that the educational system receives, many nations around the world are reforming their public education.

They’re doing it based on two main reasons: economic and cultural.

However, the standardized test used to measure the level of student learning is outside of the reform proposals.

Since the current educational system was designed, conceived and structured for a different era we can intuit that updating the subjects without updating the system is to spread out the problem over time.

We continue alienating millions of children to satisfy a structure, the system as we know it: “teaches pupils to accept that society is hierarchical and that they have an officially recognized place on that social ladder.”
