Internet is growing today, it’s a fact that paper based things will disappear soon.

I believe that as technology is getting better new devices are appearing and cloud computing is raising.

This is due to the fact that technology is more practical.

We can now have books, magazines and newspapers in one single device and we can access them as simple as having only a connection to internet.

Technology is improving every day, an example of this are storage devices, for example in the middle of the 90 we used to have diskettes, suddenly they evolved into CD’s and USB’s, these are tinier and can store many files.

I remember when I was younger that using a diskette was problem if it was stucked inside the computer, you could only use it once after you record a file in it and the capacity was smaller compared with today’s day devices.

With today’s technology, by having a single connection to Internet we can access to our personal files located in the cloud, there are many enterprises that provide these services, like google and dropbox.

These new technologies had helped to reduce the amount of paper used by society and because of this many people prefer not to buy paper based things like magazines and newspapers.

I consider that this change has a positive impact in the environment because trees are not cut anymore, hence deforestation is decreasing.

In conclusion I think that eventually all paper based files will be replaced by digital media, it will be stored in the cloud or the Internet, this will have a positive impact in the environment because the forest will be better preserved and the wood won’t be used to produce paper, another good reason is that in Internet already exists enterprises that manages services and tools that allow us to have everything we need in one single site, this means that we don’t have search the information we need in other place.

It is as easier as going to google or any other web search engine to search the news of the day or to search for any other article that might interest us.
