I can’t say how many times people have asked me: Why I have chosen architecture?

After completing high school we faced one of the hardest decision that should be taken and we have to make a responsible choice.

But for me it was easy, because I’ve already chosen my way and was moving towards the set goal.

My friends wondered, why does the girl like me choose so “not female” profession.

In everyman’s imagination the word “architect” is associated with the intelligent and well-educated engineer, like Norman Foster, or with the eccentric artist who wants to change the world by his creativity, like Antonio Gaudi was.

In my mind members of the profession are the people who have unlimited abstract thinking, creating urban environment and believing in everything they do.

Nowadays, architects should have enormous knowledge and be aware about constantly changing tendency not only at country he lives but also abroad.

He could be flexible and be able to adapted to the particular needs and actual situations, assimilate the information about evolving materials and construction methods, best practice in the field of civil engineering from all over the world.

That’s why the communication skills are so important especially knowing the foreign languages.

This profession is so multiply and responsible and that’s made it so attractive for me.

My interests were always various.

But, in everything I undertook I succeed and got high results.

In consequences, each hobby helped me to gain useful experience in many areas and simulated hard desire for learning new things and improve my skills.

As a result, It supports me to get achieve my goals faster.

I like attending expos, conventions, conferences and events related to my professional life and also meeting new people.

In this year I tried myself in the role of theater worker that allowed me to see its structure from inside and made a mass of useful notices concerning a planning.

I reckon, this job had been a wonderful and regarding experience that will help me with follow-up architectural projects.

At the moment I’m only a third-year student of Architecture course where we are actively studying subjects as engineering sciences and constructing.

Special in-depth knowledge in physics and mathematics, which I got from school, help me a lot.

I graduated with honors previous courses and have proven myself in learning foreign languages therefore got an offer to take a part in conference in English.

The subject of my report was “Architecture of modern museum and their role in developing society”.

Preparing my report I realized that there are so many interesting topics that I really want to get know about but they don’t receive a due consideration on lectures.

That’s why I was happy to find out that there is a great opportunity to study abroad.

It’s perfect opportunity for me to get knowledge about European architecture and accumulate an experience that would be used in my further practice and design concepts.

I’m sure, it will help me to find something new and form my own style.

Also, I’m interested in learning new disciplines and becoming a great specialist engineer, because I’m going to get internship abroad in future.
