22 years ago, Korn debut with their self-titled album “Korn”, one of the most influential records in rock’s history.
The power of the album, and the new sound that the band created, helped and influenced incoming bands.
Even though the success of the album and many good critics it has, the leader of the band Jonathan Davis, actually hates this work.
In 2015, in order to celebrate the 20 years of Korn, the group played most of the album live.
In an interview of breal.tv, the singer defined the album as dark and said that he is so happy that the tour finished.
However, he doesn’t regret about doing it.
“I did it for the fans”, he said.
However, according to his words, he got into a deep depression throughout the tour.
A sure thing is that fans and anyone who had listened to the entire album could predict why Jonathan hates his own work.
Especially if you’ve listened to “Daddy”, which talks about the rape of a child.
Surely an album in which Jonathan vent all of his anger and frustrations.
