Some students believe that homework should be optional.
Homework is a big part of any student's life.
Some pupils think that homework must not be compulsory.
However,others strongly believe that doing homework is a duty of any student.
In my judgment, homework should not be optional.
Firstly, it helps students improve their knowledge of a subject.
It goes without saying that while doing their homework students memorize things that are necessary to know,for example grammar rules.
Secondly, if a pupil regularly does his homework,he becomes more hardworking and purposeful.
He must know not only a subject he studies, but also how to manage time.
Thanks to homework we acquire extremely important traits of character.
But there are lazy students who suppose that homework does not play a crucial role in studying and must not be compulsory.
In their opinion, abolishing homework will give us more free time.
But I strongly believe that homework is essential for students as it gives us an opportunity to get a good understanding of a subject.
To draw a conclusion,I would like to say that homework must be compulsory anyway because it motivates students and makes them study.
Those who have contrary opinion just do not want to learn something new because of their laziness.
