The film club of the Ethelburgh’s School is now open!
You’re free to come now or later in the year.
In this club, we talk of the seventh art, and of our passion for the cinema!
Every couple of weeks, we chose a movie and propose to students to come and see it!
For the first show, members of the film club wanted to make a particular impression to everybody in the school, and this, for each movie which will be projected during the year.
For tomorrow’s display, we chose a film that teaches you a lot of lessons.
The first one is that everything you do impacts your life, no matter how.
More precisely, your choice has to be made considering the totality of the situation (including aftereffects).
We picked up Mr Nobody.
This movie tells the story of Nemo Nobody.
He’s a 118 years old man (actually, the last mortal on Earth), in 2092.
During the film, the main caracter refers to his three main loves, but everything starts with the divorce of his parents..
What would have happened if he had followed his mother instead of his father, and the opposite.
The film explores all life paths, and switch to each one a little bit randomly.
One of the most imporant thing is the casting. we rediscover Jared Leto, who played in Suicide Squad and Requiem for a Dream, as Nemo Nobody.
Sarah Polley played Elise, Diane Kruger, Anna, and Linh Dan Pham embodied Jeanne.
The film maker is Jaco Van Dormael.
We hope that you will be there!
