The first graphic gives us information about entertainment venues in 2009.
There are three types of comparisons: sports, theme parks and cinemas.
The number of admissions for sports weights less than two hundred thousand.
It represents the weaker entertainment sector in terms of venues.
Theme parks seem to be more successful with a number of venues about four hundred thousand admissions.
In spite of this success, the most popular entertainment sector is obviously cinemas, with more than 1000 thousand venues.
The second graphic gives us maybe the keys to understand this success ;
The tickets for sports are almost costly ( around 70 dollars for Football ) and the family tickets reduction stays mostly anecdotic ( around 3 dollars !!!
), except for basketball which is very affordable and offers 16 dollars off for buying family ticket.
Theme parks, despite of being as expensive as football, have an interesting offer for families; the amount of one ticket is deducted if you buy 4.
Cinemas stay the most affordable entertainment despite of a weak offer for families and groups; only 5 dollars off for 4 tickets !
