Good books are only those books that everyone likes and understand.
Everyone has a favourite book.
It is an artwork that we like and understand.
But there are some books that difficult to understand.
Should we consider them good books?
In my opinion, the universal acceptance is not a guarantee of excellent book.
Indeed, there are a lot of tabloid novels, that many people like and understand, today.
But they are not a part of good literature.
Because these books doing consist any important information.
Moreover, the books of classic writers aren't always understood and liked by everybody.
But we cannot say that they are not good books.
These artworks are store of answers the relevant questions.
These books are the part of cultural heritage of humanity.
Some opponents might say that if you don't understand the book, how you determine is it good or not?
For example, many people don't understand the Dostoevsky's books or the Tolstoy's books.
For them they don't teach anything.
But the contemporary novels are easier to understand.
So, they should consider the part of good literature.
However, I disagree with these contentions.
The book should give people some important information, some new knowledge and inspiration.
The contemporary novels don't give any of this.
To sum it up, I want to say that people should try to understand the artworks of classic writers.
They are part of our history and part of our culture.
