The purpose of this article is to show you how significant is the problem of gases emissions.

These sorts of gases such as carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide are produced by factories, means of transport, even by our habits.

Estimates suggest that the emission of carbon dioxide increases.

Therefore the ozone layer is damaged by these emissions.

The ozone layer protects us from the ultraviolet radiation and it has a hole in its surface because of the emissions.

In addition, greenhouse effect increases.

The greenhouse effect is necessary for our life because it warms the earth.

However the temperature raises because the gases in the atmosphere trap the heat of the sun and then they cannot escape back into the space.

It is called global warming, and it is pretty dangerous.

Finding of studies point out that global warming may cause that the ice of the poles melts; consequently the level of the sea will rise.

On top of that there will be disasters such as drought, starvation, floods… It leads me to think that one must be careful with our habits, take care of our planet and to have an environmental-friendly behaviour.
