  • What's your favorite day of the week?

  • To be honest, I don’t actually have a favorite day of the week and the reason is quite simple.
  • When I was younger and I went to school, my favorite day was Saturday because it used to be the only day on which I could go out with my friends and come back home late at night.
  • We use to go to parties or (get together) and catch up over a drink without worrying about having to wake up early the following morning since there was no school.
  • Things changed when I started college and I went out on my own.
  • Since I don't have homework and close deadlines as I did at school, I am free to set up my daily schedule and plan what to study and when.
  • What comes with that is that I simply can put down the books whenever I want or I don't feel like studying anymore.
  • If I want to watch a tv show all the afternoon, I can do it.
  • If a friend calls me up, I can say "hey, let's get together in 15 minutes" and put off studying until the day after.
  • Unfortunately, it happens more often than I'd like.
  • Then, all of a sudden, here comes the weekend and I have done half the things I planned on Monday.
  • My exam is a week closer and I've spent my time fucking around instead of studying.
  • My old friend anxiety starts eating my flesh and I know I couldn't enjoy a night out because my mind would be on my books.
  • So the only thing I can do is study hard, go to bed at a proper time and wake up early in the morning to carry out my weekly plan.
  • Since I am a college student, days of the week are all the same: I can study every day and take some time for myself whenever I want.
  • So my favorite day is any day I can spend doing things I like.
