The author's position is reinforced by two bad episodes that have happened three years ago to Italy's first black governement minister, Cécile Kyenge, and to the U.S.A.

In both cases, italian politicians have expressed comments about their skin colour, that have not been appreciated by the rest of the world.

According to the journalist, the reasons of this racism can be found in the strong attachment of italians to their country, in the lack of a colonial past empire, in the inheritance of the facism or simply in the absence of rules.

All in all, the author ends the article stating that Italy is a country of generosity and hospitality with every foreign person.
