  • WHY PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

  • To start with this subject, it is well-known that in this day and age everybody learns a foreign language.
  • There are several and different reasons for that.
  • For instance, at school pupils learn a second language because it is in the syllabus, nothing more.
  • They are been prepared for the future in a global world where the communication is a relevant issue.
  • But adults have other reasons.
  • Mainly, adults learn a foreign language because of their jobs.
  • If you are unemployed, you must learn a foreign language in order to achieve o to get a job.
  • Other people need to learn or to improve their second language to promote or to get a better job, as well to get a raise of pay.
  • We do not forget that there are a lot of international companies where a language such as English is a work tool.
  • From my point of view, the more obligations you have, the less you learn.
  • That is why; there are other nicer reasons, for example: travel the world or just a hobby.
