It is difficult to believe, but it is the truth.

Studies claim that it is a problem to solve by governments immediately.

Furthermore, people must be aware of this significant issue in order to change their life habit and the consumption.

Governments must take solutions and help us to do the right things.

For instance, it is important to put the clear date on packaging “sell by” and “use by”, the suitable packaging to maintain fresher food, individual and small portions in many products even bread, etc. The problem is not just the huge landfill used-some statistics claim that it is as larger as Canada and India together- .

There are other problems such as the pollution, because of the petroleum needed in the food production, fertilisers, harvesting, transportation and packaging.

Furthermore dump waste produces gas emissions as methane that destroys the ozone layer.

On top of that, there are a lot of lands such as forest that they are being cut down and destroyed in order to harvest, and as you can see in a useless way.

All things considered, I firmly believe that governments and citizens must take into account rules in order to stop waste food.
