I would like to start my review with a very simple sentence: "Balto" is a favourite cartoon of my childhood.
I remember the first time I saw the VHS version in our local market.
I was about ten years old.
Then this film delighted my by its simple and kind story - story about half-blood dog and half-blood wolf who resquered the whole small town from a horrible desiese.
I liked the main hero very much.
Balto is a kind, quiet and brave dog.
He is the ideal example how you should behave if you need achieve something very difficult and very important for you.
In addition to the fact that this film has the very charismatic main hero, there are some vivid secondary characters.
Especially I mean the main protagonist.
His is an ideal of evil.
Furthermore there is the meaningful song in the titles which shows the main idea of this film.
