Scenario:
The boss and four employees meet every Friday before the weekend begins.
The meeting takes place in the boss office.
Boss: Nice to see you all before a warm and sunny weekend starts.
We have from now 30 minutes to talk about next weeks topics.
But before, there is some time left to hear a small summary from Rebecca, who were at a seminar about "Light and ecology" last week.
Did you hear something interesting there?
Rebecca: Yes, it was it totally worth to spend one week for this seminar.
All told, good lighting and ecology are fitting excellently.
There are so many new opportunities.
Therefore I thought about giving a presentation, in which I could introduce you the most interesting details about this team.
Boss: That sounds like a good idea.
Let's see if we could integrate your presentation into the tasks of next week.
We get three new orders.
It is a private house, a little shop for art supplies and a fabric building.
The question is if you have enough capacity to add the new orders to your current tasks?
Susann: I don't mind to work on the fabric building.
My current project has a similar topic.
To create again a light concept for another fabric shouldn't be a big problem. Boss: Perfect!
Rebecca, do you have a task for the coming week, next to the presentation?
Rebecca: If I see these new clients, it seems like my presentation isn't fitting that well for next week.
But I could create a little folder with all the information in the case, you need knowledge about ecological lighting solution.
Jack: or you design posters about the most important teams....
Mark: or you create a website.
You can inform there also about the current status and become an expert for ecological lighting....
Susann: for the next time you could film everything and give a live broadcast.
Boss: I agree that it would be a pity if Rebecca can't share her new knowledge.
But first, we should finish our main item.
To organize the next week.
Who wants to work at the shop?
And is there somebody who wants to work for the client, wich plans a house?
Jack: I'm very interested in the shop.
But I have to work at a lighting concept for a kindergarten in a forest.
Rebecca: That would be perfect.
I guess the kindergarten is also interested in ecological lighting.
If I could assume your project, you are free for the shop and I could use and deepen everything I learned last week.
Boss: Is there somebody who disapproves? No?
Then I agree with switching your projects.
There is just the private house left.
Mark, would you like to create a new concept for it?
We all can support you if you need help, but this could be your first own project!
Does everybody agree that Mark is ready for his first project?
The rest: He is ready!
Mark: Thank you!
I will do my very best!
Boss: Very good.
Is there something else you want to talk about?
Susann: Maby Rebecca has the chance to share her knowledge step by step by presenting every week her current status.
Boss: Would you do that for us, Rebecca?
Rebecca: Of course, a very good idea!
Boss: Thank you for that idea, Susann!
Well, we still have 5 minutes left.
But if there is nothing left to discuss, I would recommend to go on with the "Friday- Margaritas" in a minute.
