Lunyu biecai was written by Nan Huaijin.

It was firstly published in 1976 by the Ancient Cultural Work Company of Taiwan.

Since then the book has been printing for eighteenth times.

The latest version was pressed in 2005 by the mainland publisher called Fudan University Press, who is established in 1978 and plays an important role in China.

The author named Nan Huaijin has been enjoying a famous reputation, and having dedicated his life to the field of Chinese Culture such as Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism as well as that of building a good relationship between mainland and Taiwan.

So far, Mr. Nan had written over 30 books, having been regarded as a great professor in the field of Chinese Paleography.

Lunyu, the classic book of Confucianism, succinctly relates conversations between the teacher Confucius and students.

As expressing in Chinese ancient characters of the book, Professor Nan offers readers active stories, then composed those into the book named Lunyu biecai, to describe what the contents mean and also interpreted why their conversation can be flown for thousand years.

The contents include guidelines such as establishment of relationships between families, friends, and performance on work, etc. This attracted those who are interested in, including foreign people to have a look.

Therefore the composition has been translated in eight different languages so far.

One of the obvious pieces of symbolism in the story is the Twelfth Chapter Yan Yuan, who followed Confucius since his fourteen, earned the most prizes from his tutor and even having been seen as an inheritor of Confucius.

However he was died in the age of thirties.

Though living at the later period of Lu Dynasty, the chaotic times of war, he never gives up on study.

Either harsh wears or being starvation, he neglected these outside conditions, only focused what he believed.

It is a good book to read for people who are trying to be better.

We may feel confused in life when we somehow make mistakes and no one explain why this could happen on us.
