So I have some topic for TOEFL essay and here it is: You have enough money to purchase either a house o a business.
Which would you choose to buy?Give specific reasons to explain your choice.
I think I would invest my money into a house and there are several reasons why I prefer a real estate than business.
The first is I can always sell my house and to put received amount into a business.
Secondly, any business involves a lot of risks unlike an acquiring a house.
For instance, if my business fails I will not return my money.
So many people will agree with me that buying the real estate is a reliable investment for all times.
From this statement flows the third reason which I want to explain.
It is that the purchase a house can be a first step to making a business, for example, the leasing.
And nowadays the leasing or the rent is a very profitable business.
Thus, through buying a house we can kill two birds with one stone.
Namely, we are able to live in the purchased house for some time and then if it will be needed we can rent one or two rooms and make a little business.
