For a long time, my passive English skills suited me: I can read books and articles, watch movies and tv shows, but I can't speak and write fluently.

The moment has come I should improve my active English.

I'll work on my speaking and writing.

I have two main ideas about it: write texts and public them on polyglotclub.com and chat in Tandem app.

Also, I think about youtube-blog about life and policy in Russia in English.

But it's scared.

My goal is C1: take part in lengthy conversations & discussions, write and understand most text including formal, academic and professional documents, easily understand TV, plays, films, lectures, and presentations.

What are you think about it and what advice can give me?
