Corrections

I'm trying to learn modisms in the USA english but because in my job i usually talk with different people of many places in the USA and all of theme use this kind of vocabulary that i cant understand completely , could some one help me please? just with examples and the translation.

ps. i'm not sure if modisms it's the right word in Spanish i meant "modismos"
